Troubleshooting Image Uploads
There are a couple of common problems that can causing videos not to upload. Let's walk through all the possible problems (and solutions) to your upload failure. Problems like this are almost always caused by something on your computer blocking access to the uploader.
That said, here are the steps to take if you cannot upload images or other files to your site.
1 - Find out the size of the file. (Make sure it's not larger than 100mb)
2 - Try clearing your browser cache.
This is the classic cure-all for browser problems and it does sometimes help in this situation. You should clear the cache, close the browser, re-open the browser and log back in to the editor. If you're not sure how to clear your browser cache, see here:
3 - Check to see if the browser is set to block ads.
If you have an Ad Blocker extension turned on, then turn it off and try the upload again. Since our uploader uses flash, some ad blockers might block it.
4. Try A Different Browser
See if you can complete the upload from browser other than the one you're using now. Try Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari. All browsers generally works just fine with our service, but variance in settings and installation of extensions can very occasionally cause trouble. You may just even need to clean your browser's cache if it just suddenly stopped working properly.
If you don't know much about browsers, they're all free to download and are easy to get running. Google has a great website called "What browser am I using?" that tells you what browser you're currently using and links to other great browsers you can download. It's worth checking out if you don't currently have other browsers installed on your computer.
5 - Check anti-virus / firewall / network security.
Try disabling your antivirus, firewall or network security to see if that helps. It might also help to try another computer.
